The Journey Begins

Following a wonderful, all-too-brief visit with friends in Connecticut, we departed JFK at 1:25am on March 23rd. The epic 30-hour journey jetted us through China and Malaysia before touching down in Thailand. Despite the early-morning hour of our initial ascent, we surged with energy and excitement. By the time we hit Kuala Lumpur, exuberance gave way to exhaustion.
